    Research paper!

    I am now in Comp 3 immediately after finishing Comp2/literature. 

    We have to do a 6-10 page research paper for our final. Not such a biggie however what kind of teacher says 6-10 pages usually they give you like a one page difference (i.e. 4-5 pages). 6-10 pages is a long freaking job here people. 

    She has given us two weeks to choose a topic. Last week I was all dead set about writing about Operation Iraqi Freedom which would have been cake if I was writing an informative paper since J was in the Marines and was involved in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. I would have had a first hand account to use but sadly we are doing Argumentative Papers and I couldn’t come up with an argument that I could find a lot of topics on. So…I switched to Alice in Wonderland again couldn’t come up with an argument. (for the record I completely SUCK at come up with thesis statements). 

    I am sure a lot of you are thinking why not just use Google. Well folks I would love to but you see we have to find four sources from within our schools online library and the selection there isn’t as vast as the selections that Google could offer me. Now without further ado I will unveil the topic of my paper. FREEMASONS! I have come up with a fairly nice point to prove and I have found several sources that are  helpful in the schools library. YAY me!

    Goodbye Retail

    I quit my job tonight and I did it because they were making me put my job before my daughter and I had had enough. My breaking point was yesterday I asked our assistant manager to find someone to cover my shift on Thursday because my aunt who usually watches Kbug had to take my grandmother to a doctors appt. because she has a clot in her intestines and when she talked to the Store Manager about it he told her “its not my problem”. That was the final straw. I cover shift after shift for people who aren’t even at my store and when I need to call in because of my daughter being sick or because I don’t have anyone to watch her they basically refuse to get someone to cover for me. So I called J and he said to go ahead and turn in my keys. We would find a way to make it work money wise. Both of us are in school but I am going to try and sell my crochet items to help make up what his V.A. check won’t cover. 

    I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. That job did not pay enough for the hell that I had to go through every night between customers and the amount of crap they wanted done in my six hour shifts. Now I can finally focus on Kbug and school. 

    But tomorrow I will be joining J and his family at the beach. They went today and I stayed behind because someone scratched my name off the calendar for those days requested and took them for themselves. So I am going to get up tomorrow morning get kbugs and my things packed up and then we are heading out. I need a vacation!

    School, work, kbug,rinse and repeat

    I am now on my 4th class in school which is Composition 3. I feel slightly like I am running in circles with this. I am in a Paralegal Studies program and I don’t get to take my first law class until November! And somehow I have to take Public Speaking. Normally I wouldn’t be confused about it but I go to school online. So I get to stand in front of my webcam and give speeches. I guess it makes it easier since I won’t be able to see the Public that I will be speaking to muwahaha! but I am horribly with speeches. I get all nervous and jittery! Oh well at least its not math yet hehe! 

    In crochet news: I will be starting my first graphed pattern blanket soon. I am making it for J’s grandfather who use to be a US Marshall. I found a wonderful and free program online called knitpro that turns images into the charts so you can turn it into a crochet item. I will keep you updated on this process….if I can every get started.

    Kbug news: She is sleeping in her very own big girl bed. I did put a safety rail up because she squirms so much and I don’t want her to get hurt. Whats so cute is she insist on keeping all of her biggest stuffed animals on the bed so there is barely room for her in a full sized bed. We are still working on potty training. She was doing really good but right now she refuses to go potty I have no idea why but everyone says its just a phase. and her biggest accomplishment is that she can sing her ABC’s I am planning on taking a video of that and posting it. 

    AND ONE LAST THING: Kbug and I have moved in with J. I love it I can work on my assignments without waiting until the last minuet or having to go to the library. Kbug has her own room filled with all of her own toys. And I get to see the man I love play hide and go seek with her. I finally have someone in my life who enjoys her moments with me and looks forward to her next accomplishment. he beams with pride when she calls him Daddy!

    Hello ALL!

    I disappeared for a while but now I am back. Works been insane. The longer I am there the more my faith in the intelligence of humanity is destroyed. 

    I have been crocheting a lot and playing MASS EFFECT 3 Since my lovely boyfriend bought it for me. :) 

    Speaking of said boyfriend we will be moving to TN in Aug so I will let everyone know how that is going.

    doing a little dreaming

    I got a pintrest, and I have been pinning stuff on it for about an hour or more haha. 

    Most of them have been ideas for the garden I one day hope to have. If anyone wants to follow me on pintrest message me I will send you the url. 

    But oh how i want a garden. I cant seem to find a design I like…I think its time to break out the sketch book. muwahahaha
